Meet the Cast

Sylvie Mix as Sunny

In two short years, Sylvie has landed leading roles in three feature films. Her turn as Lennon Gates in the sleeper hit Poser earned her national recognition. She not only starred in but also co-wrote and produced the next project, the allegorical Christmas ghost story Double Walker, directed by Colin West.

Sylvie’s lifelong love of wildlife, the forest and the outdoors made her a perfect fit for the character of Sunny. Her physicality and understated humor fit perfectly for the buddy comedy aspect of the film.

Alan Tyson as Ezra

Alan’s acting career spans stage and screen. He’s won accolades for his onstage turns as the title character in the August Wilson play King Hedley II, as well as the emotionally complex character Frank in Jen Silverman’s stage presentation, Witch. He co-stars in the upcoming film series Fresh Hell.

Alan’s approach to goofy best friend Ezra is full of love, his vibrant style the perfect match for Sylvie. He creates a character you cannot help but root for.

Donovan Riley Wolfington as Mason

Donovan’s an actor, model and musician with experience on both sides of the camera, having directed a number of short films and music videos. His matinee idol looks have landed him a number of romantic leading roles, but his distinctive baritone and commanding presence lend themselves equally well to playing the villain.

The role of Mason, a fan favorite, was written expressly for Wolfington, capitalizing not only on  his comedic acting ability, but also his musical talent.

A Berklee trained multi-instrumentalist, Wolfington composed the score for the film and his experimental rap-rock trio New Plague Radio contributed two songs to the soundtrack.

Gareth Tidball as Stephanie

Gareth is an award-winning actress and screenwriter with a romantic affinity for the macabre. She typically plays young, tough women with a strong sense of justice and an air of quiet mystery. Gareth first made waves in the indie film scene with her performance in the hard-hitting thriller My Autopsy. Since then, she has made appearances in several feature films: neo-noir horror Casting Kill (Raya Films), and Tom Ryan’s epic horror anthology Return to the Theatre of Terror (Theatre of Terror Productions.) Coming up, Gareth will lead the cast in Foxglove Candy (Debtor Entertainment).

Brian Spangler as Richard

Brian Spangler has over 20 years in the performance industry including film, theatre, improv, commercials and lead singer for several bands. Lived on the west coast, lived on the east coast but his heart resides in the Midwest where he currently lives and continues to search for the next challenging role or gig.
